So there is definitely a balance to be had. If we're not taking care of ourselves, we're not following his command becuase it's impossible to love others the way we should if we're not taking care of ourselves. Christ took care of Himself - always taking time to be with the Father, to retreat away from the crowds to pray or to be with His inner circle and that's just as much of our example to follow as loving others. <BR/><BR/>I believe life carries ebbs and flows where sometimes you need to retreat with that inner circle a little more to regroup, refresh, renew and then head back out to the battle. And other times, the battle calls for us to deny self a little more and tend to those God brings into our path, leading us to rely on His strength more than our own. But the key is knowing when those times are versus always operating in the "others first" mode. <BR/><BR/>I'm with ya in this challenge sister.
